Admitted Students and NASA HUNCH Program Tour NJAMI

As winter takes its leave, spring is welcomed once again, ushering in the new season of college tours. The first round of admitted students and their parents were hosted at Richard Weeks Hall of Engineering, home of NJAMI, where mechanical and aerospace engineering booths showcased the many programs, projects, and opportunities for future Rutgers engineers. As always, a tour of NJAMI’s 5G pilot manufacturing facility is the hot spot in the itinerary of research lab walkthroughs.
Additionally, NJAMI hosted local high school students participating in the NASA HUNCH program. Through demonstration of the advanced manufacturing research, such as digital twins of metal additive manufacturing, AI-supported machining, and 5G-enabled robotic manufacturing, the next generation of engineers can be inspired to continue their studies and find their purpose.
More information about the NASA HUNCH program can be found here.
