Position 1: Physics-Informed Machine Learning for Manufacturing Dynamics
  • Manufacturing processes (machining or additive manufacturing)
  • Physics-based process modeling (e.g., FEA, CFD)

  • Physics-informed neural network (desired but not mandatory)
  • Programing (e.g., Python)
Position 2: Digital Twins for Manufacturing Processes
  • Manufacturing processes (machining or additive manufacturing)
  • Process modeling (e.g., CFD, FEM, or machine learning)
  • Process monitoring and control
  • Process dynamics (e.g., vibration)
  • Programing (e.g., Python)
Position 3: AI-Driven Materials Discovery through Additive Manufacturing
  • Additive manufacturing
  • Solidification and microstructure modeling (e.g., Phase Field, DFT/CALPHAD, etc.)
  • Machine learning
  • Database and programing (e.g., Python)
Position 4: Process Monitoring and Analytics for Metal Additive Manufacturing
  • Additive manufacturing processes
  • Process monitoring techniques (IR, AE, Pyrometry, etc.)
  • Data analytics including AI/ML
  • Programing (e.g., Python)
