NJAMI Hosts First Session of NJ SAMPE AM Series

NJ SAMPE Chapter board members and industry attendees with Dr. Guo touring NJAMI. 

NJAMI had the pleasure of hosting the New Jersey chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) this past Thursday for their first session in their Additive Manufacturing (AM) Series.

For these sessions, NJ SAMPE meets on the first Thursday of each month at various local venues, including dinner and a featured local speaker. The focus is on the current state of commercial AM applications, advancing their adoption, and highlighting academic achievements.

Dr. Yuebin Guo, the keynote speaker, presented his team’s recent work on in-situ pyrometry monitoring in laser fusion. The meeting was concluded with a tour of NJAMI manufacturing facilities.
