Picatinny Arsenal visit NJAMI

Dr. Guo welcomes Picatinny to visit NJAMI.

NJAMI welcomed a group of representatives of Picatinny Arsenal for a tour of the Institute’s advanced manufacturing facilities. During the tour, NJAMI’s ‘arsenal’ of state-of-the-art facilities and use-inspired manufacturing testbeds were showcased for the Picatinny guests. A walk of the manufacturing facilities was followed by side tours of the metrology and materials characterization and functionality labs. It was an honor to host Picatinny and it would be a greater honor to serve as a partner in defense research, as well as with other agencies or industries.

Picatinny prides itself on being the main manufacturer of advanced weapon systems and ammunition for the U.S. Army with unrivaled capabilities compared to government and industry facilities. Striving to lead nationally and internationally in the development of defense technology, Picatinny partners with universities and industry in collaborative research. NJAMI can prove to be a player in these collaborations by providing innovative manufacturing technologies and resources.
